Students Explore Engineering During Summer Programs at CSU and CU
Nearly 100 students participated in the second annual Campos EPC Engineering Summer Programs at Colorado State University and the University of Colorado Boulder last week. Students toured campus facilities, met with professors, and explored different facets of engineering. “Engineering has taught me how to work around any obstacle,” said Bridget Sidwell, a tenth grader at East High School who participated in the CSU ENvision program.
CSU and CU-Boulder aren’t the only summer programs for DPS CareerConnect students this summer, though! Sixty additional students will be at programs at Metropolitan State University, a girls-only advanced manufacturing camp at the Community College of Denver, and the Summer Health Careers Institute led by the Colorado Area Health Education Center.
